Oh new years resolutions!I kept watching the days go by and I was in no shape to write anything due to illness and work. There was only so much energy available and something had to give.
However , I had plenty of time to muse. What was I musing about, why , dead people of course. The reason for these musings is an invite to my friends bash at Cemetery hill, she just moved there and the her first party's slogan is , come as your favorite dead person, no relatives.
There are many to choose from, for we have more dead people than alive . But who to choose.
What statement do I want to make?Outrageous, political, historical. Werner's advise was, stay away from Hitler, even the prince did not get away with it.
I decided on a heroine and Amelia Earhard came to mind, German heroes might not all that well know here in North America, so why bother , if I have to constantly explain, starting with Adam and Eve.
American heroine here I come! I admired Amelia's guts for having done all her flying in this male dominated world.Little Lindy!! She showed gut lost her life .
The costume is great as well, knee high boots, riding breeches , bomber jacket, goggles and pilots cap.
Except, another friend of mine is going as Amelia as well. To hell with Amelia, German hero here I come, and it is going to be a memorable night of being Manfred von Richthofen, The Red Baron!
It is really all about the flying!-and the fun!
